checking for ati fglrx kernel module...........failed

I am helping out a friend. She upgraded the kernel to 2.6.11-1.14_FC3 via up2date and recieved this error at bootup:

checking for ati fglrx kernel module...........failed

But can still get in to her system and the video seems to be working fine. However, she has an Nvidia card. So why is an ati module trying to load? Should she disable this or unload this module or something? Sorry, I'm not too familiar with this. Here's her video chipset:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV11 [GeForce2 MX/MX 400] (rev b2)

Thanks,

Micah

Oh yeah, and she also got:

you are running kernel 2.6.11-1.14_FC3, but it is not installed in RPM format it is highly recommended that you run the officical red hat linuz kernels. by running a custom kernel you will miss out on any security fixes and functionality enhancements provided by red had linux and your vonfiguration is unsuppored

but like I said, it's from up2date.
