Check NTFS Disk From Linux

How do I check NTFS disk for bad sectors from Linux? I looked a man fsck, but that appears only for Linux. I do not have a windows machine. The disk will not boot to Windows. I have the disk connected via USB.

You might try ntfsfix, check the link below. Never used it myself to don't know how well it works.

I don't want to fix it. I just want to check the drive for bad sectors before installing anything on it.

No matter is it ntfs or ext4 or something else if you want to check drive for bad blocks/sectors.
