Centos 6 on HP C7000 blade server

All,

I have an HP C7000 blade chassis with ProLiant BL460c G1 blades. The blades have a NC512m 10Gb ethernet card in them. I can install centos or Red Hat 5.X with no problems but when I try to install Centos 6/RedHat 6 I receive the error "nmi received for unknown reason a1 on cpu 0." The NC512m is causing the issue but I have to have this card. Is there any work around or kernel parameter that I can use to get it to work?

Hi awdavis214,

it seems that there is no RHEL 6 driver

Unfortunately even on HP site no solution is given.

I agree that RHEL 5 is supported, but not (yet) RHEL 6 which CentOS is based on.
unfortunately I see no solution,

I could only suggest you maybe try ask at CentOS forums also.
I didn't go reading if this is breaking LQ rules, so I apologize and I will remove this if need (0<1).

maybe someone here at LQ has an idea?
