PCLOS 2007 is beta software and is in active development. From the error messages you don't have mkisofs installed probably because it's missing from this beta package. If you have two optical drives, use another live cd distro like knoppix to burn the iso you need; knoppix comes with k3b, probably the best linux cd burning app. If you only have one optical drive, most live cds allow you to boot "to ram" if you have sufficient ram(and you have more that enough). In this scenario, the cd is loaded into your ram and you can remove the cd after you boot and use the drive to burn a cd. Check the knoppix "cheat codes" or the "cheat codes" of the livecd you want to use for the "toram" boot.

I'd recommend slax; it has a pretty small footprint and is a small download(192MB):

It boots to a command line login; you enter "root" for user and the password is "toor". At the prompt, you run:

# startx

and you should be in kde and can run k3b. For a toram boot, do either of the below:

boot: slax copy2ram
boot: slax toram

Slax is one of my favorite livecds; it's helped me out of many jams.
