Card reader Works
This might be of help in selecting a card reader for use with linux.
I just installed a PowerUP #GEN-9010 internal reader. It's not advertised as Linux compatible, but works right out of the box with Suse 10.2. I just plugged it into the motherboard, nothing else required. It reads a long list of cards including the xD(M&H) that my camera uses. It's plug and play and comes with no software. Black and white face plates are included. Cost was $19.99. |
Most of them use a generic "usb mass storage" driver nowadays, so should work with any recently released OS. But FWIW I like my Atech Flash Pro-9 because it shows up as four independent drives. ;) http://www.atechflash.com/images/PIC-PRO9-LG.gif
