I am running Redhat 9 and trying to set it up to use my dlink 704p printserver.

I have so far tryed many failed configurations. From reading other threads I have determined the best configuration would be to use UNIX LPD for server enter the ip address and for queue enter ip,ipr,ip1 or p1. Then select the right driver click apply and it should work. BUT IT HASN'T FOR ME.
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME.

When I try to print a test page a message pops up saying "sent cups test page" "check the result" , like everything went okay, but nothing prints. Aslo under description it says "remote host did not accept control file (32).

If anyone has any good ideas please let me know.

For my print server (probably any one) I have to disable my firewall before I am able to print over the network like this: /etc/init.d/iptables stop
