Cant read second HD

I have 2 hard drives attached to my PC the primary can see the secondary but i can't view any of the files on it, can someone tell me how to go about this?

I can see hdb1 through 6 in my /dev file Mandrake Control Centre recognises that there are two hard drives attached to the computer. Kdiskfree only sees my primary HD partitions. I have amended the options in the lilo menu to allow me to boot into the secondary HD (but my problem is that i can only get mandrake running with the use of a boot disk, so this is no help)

What apps should i be using to locate files on my second hard drive, do i need to create files, or link the /dev/hdb files in any way? Do i need to creat an entry in /mnt?

Help please i feel lost!!

kdiskfree (or rather "df" ) only list partitions that are mounted. so you need to mount it.

mount -t vfat /dev/hdb1 /mnt/windows

search this site and read the fstab manpage on info about making it permanent
