cant mount sda2 in rescue

Hi all -

I recently hosed my linux server and Im trying to get back in via rescue to extract the data on there. Its an ata raid 1 array on a hpt37x. I can boot to the shell withthe hpt drivers, and I can even mount sda1 (boot partition) but I just cant mount sda2. Mount returns an "Invalid Argument" error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
-T
