Cant mount Dvd-Drive(s)

Hi,
I'm new here and a total Newbie with Linux. I have Suse 10.0 with the latest kernel installed.
When I first installed Suse I could put a data CD or DVD into either of my DVD drives and read it using the Gnome file manager.
Now for some reason, although both drives show up when I click the 'Computer' icon on my desktop, if I click on either I get the following message:

mount: can't find /dev/hda in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

My fstab file reads:

/dev/hdf9 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/sda1 /dos/E vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/hde1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdf1 /windows/D vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/hde5 /windows/F ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hde6 /windows/G ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdf5 /windows/H ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdf6 /windows/I ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdf7 /windows/J ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdf8 swap swap defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
/dev/dvdrecorder /media/dvdrecorder subfs noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
/dev/dvdrecorder2 /media/dvdrecorder2 subfs noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy subfs noauto,fs=floppyfss,procuid,nodev,nosuid,sync 0 0
none /subdomain subdomainfs noauto 0 0
/dev/dvdrecorder3 /media/dvdrecorder3 subfs noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
/dev/dvdrecorder4 /media/dvdrecorder4 subfs noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0

I'm using two Sony DVD burners, one is the 510 model and the other is the 710 model (that does double-layer DVD's.)

Anyone have any ideas? Please remember that I'm a newbie, so if you have a possible solution please coach it in Linux 'baby-talk' <grin.>

Thanks in advance!

login a root
start yast2
hardware->CDrom/DVDrom drives
here you can add the neccesary link to /dev/hda and /dev/hdc
