Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Try using sudo modprobe -r cx88xx and sudo modprobe -r tuner to unload the modules if they were already loaded then use sudo modprobe cx88xx card=13 now run the xawtv program or I believe there is even a setup program in the menus that you run first to select your TV standard and connection type then the xawtv.
