cant find XF86Config file after nvidia installation


hi forum.
im a linux newbee on FC2 (KDE 3.2)and i try to intall my graphic card (nvidia Quadro fx). i loaded NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run and ran it. i looked in /etc/X11, but there was nothing...
do i need to find XF86Config by myself or did i miss smthing.

Is there a XF86Config-4 in /etc/X11/

no... there is nothing that begins with xf86Config. i installed and uninstalled that driver twice. i just need a little hint to figure it out by myself.

I had the same problem. For some reason in FC2 it is xorg.conf, not XF86Config...I dont know why they changed it, but that is the file it uses.
