Question Canon MX700 - Linux Drivers


Anyone been able to get this printer working with Ubuntu?

Is this you? Anyway, the reply in that thread refers to this one.

Drivers from here

Use Turboprint and the official drivers.
There is a modified ppd here.

Seriously: sell it to a windows drone and get a real printer.

been trying hard to find an answer. I had an hp all in one that worked real well with linux. I had it set up with a windoze box but could print wireless with the ubuntu laptop. Then the printer stopped working and i took it back and was afraid to get another hp printer.
