cannot start up in kde after configure mouse synaptic


hi all,, this is my first post...
i have a problem with my slackware 13.
before i configure my mouse synaptic, i can use my slackware in my laptop. but after i configure my synaptic. and then i reboot. i can't see my kde again. my laptop proses only at
Starting gpm: /usr/sbin/gpm -m /dev/mouse -t imps2
Starting up X11 session manager...
and my laptop like hang.
this is my configuration
in /etc/hal/fdi/policy/11-x11-synaptics

Backtrack on your steps. You tried to improve things, but it got worse, I gather.

Undo what you did, and tell us hopw it is behaving now.

yes,, after i did that.
i edit my /etc/X11/xorg.conf

and then get error like my post before.
if i try to edit my xorg.conf back to default
i can start my kde but i can't use my mouse synaptic in my laptop. i only use my mouse PS/2 or usb.

Remove the xorg.conf and see how things go. I had this one, and they pointed me at /etc/hald. Read this also
