Cannot seem to get a new wireless mouse to work

I am using slackware 10.1. The mouse / Keyboard setup I have is the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823109144 Now the Keyboard just worked instantly without having to do any editing. With the mouse setup in my xorg.conf I have tried all different things. Auto USB PS/2 IntelliMouse Microsoft ExplorerPS/2. Probably more. Nothing can get it to work. I put the mouse and keyboard on a windoze computer and they worked fine. The one strange thing about this setup is that it only uses one USB connection. No PS/2. Please help tell me what you have tried.

Thank you

Brian
