Question Cannot modprobe ndiswrapper!

Hello! My name is Ashlea. I am attempting to get my Microsoft MN-720 wireless card to work. I copied the files like I should, and if I do an ndiswrapper -l, it indeed tells me "mn720 present." When I attempt to do the modprobe ndiswrapper, though, it tells me that the module ndiswrapper cannot be found. I feel stupid for not being able to figure this out, but I am a new Linux user.

Check if ndiswrapper.ko module is under /lib/modules/'kernel version'/misc. If so, then execute 'depmod -ae' and then try to modprobe again.

Good luck
