Cannot find wireless card on my laptop


The wireless card cannot be found on my Thinkpad R400

Operating System: Fedora 11
Wireless Card: Thinkpad b/g/n

I've tried ndiswrapper, it doesn't work.

[giga@localhost ~]$ ndiswrapper -l
WARNING: Deprecated config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into /etc/modprobe.d/.
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper, it will be ignored in a future release.
net8192se : driver installed
device (10EC:8172) present


Can any body help me?Thanks

You're on your own with ndiswrapper, I haven't used it. I would correct your commentr above - it doesn't work yet. Your device is one of the later Realtek ones (10ec is a code for Realtek). 8172 seems a new one. Go back to the IBM spec - you bought it, and go to linuxwireless.org with the device and look there.

Thanks very much~~I've solved this problem without ndiswrapper.
