can not cancel printer job?
 

hello, i am here to ask the printer problem.

how can i cancel the printer job and document in my printer.
even i go to cancel document, it said can not cancel,
the error message said " reason given by server: job or server not found."
even i want to set up again my printer also can't work.


so what should i do to cancel this two document.

Are you trying this from a Linux / Windows system?

Alternative: do an lprm on the server.

i am doing in the redhat 9.0

but i could not work, may i know detail of the lprm,
i have tired the lprm the printer job id ,
that could not work because the server repsondd no job and printer is located.

Did you specify the spool queue.

For example, to remove job 5 and 8 in spool queue lp1:
