can kernel 2.4 still support the isa bus?

first of all, here is my story.

i have a school project that requires me to interface a mobile robot to my pc using the old isa bus. i'm planning to implement the project in linux. also, the project requires that i write the program in assembly.

here are my questions:

1. does the 2.4 kernel still provide support for the isa bus?

2. if i am to read and write to the isa bus, what is its address?

3. is there an available tutorial that can greatly help.

thank you in advance. i would greatly appreciate your help.

kernel 2.4 does still support ISA as does kernel version 2.6. I don't know the answers to the other questions.
