Can't install SoftV92 Data Fax Modem for Linux Mandriva 2006.0

Hi I've got Mandriva 2006.0 on my system. Whenever I try to configure my SoftV92 Data Fax Modem, it says some kernels need to be installed but cannot be installed. You can find them in Mandriva club or Linuxant site. I couldn,t find it on the site what to do?

You should start at http://www.linmodems.org/ They have a scanmodem tool, databases, etc. to help you find a solution on how make it work. The site may worth a look, from the base that is specialized in your kind of problem.
