Unhappy Can't install an scsi Seagate hard drive on my server

Hello everybody:

I'm trying to install a brand new SCSI Seagate ST336607LW hard drive on my server, but it wont work. I'm using a ROBO 678 motherboard. I've just formated the hard drive and checked its media trough the SCSI utility, then I restored a backup made with ghost, but nothing is working.

After restoring the backup and restarting my server, it started normal, until I get this message:

Verifying DMI pool data
GRUB GRUB

I'm stuck in here and I need to fix this as soon as possible, my job may depend on this, so I'll appreciate any help.

Hi Asagath, It looks like you need to restore grub. You may find useful instruction here.

http://www.justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144294

http://www.sorgonet.com/linux/grubrestore/

Without knowledge of your setup, I'm going to suggest reading all of the information provided before starting. The last thing you want to do is find out half of the way through a particular guide that "this step doesn't apply to your situation".
Good luck. ;-)

Thanks a lot for those links, they were really interesting, now I have a bootable GRUB floppy (jejeje). But I haven't been able to solve this problem; I don't have access to command line, neither to GRUB command line, so I don't have any way to execute the commands shown on those links.

I have tried almost everything, but keep getting the GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB screen. I've heard that in order to solve this problem I should chenge the BIOS setting from "Auto" to "User", but it looks like this doesn't work for SCSI hard drives.

Any other sugestions? I'm going insane... if there's any adittional information that you may need about this, just let me know, but please... somebody... HELP!!!
