Burner not working...
 

I just installed a dvd burner, and it isn't working. I'm running Mandriva 2008. It reads just fine, but when I try to burn it says that it does not have permission to open the device. However, it burns the label to the disc, but it won't burn any data. Why is it doing this?

What application are you using for the burn, what are the specific commands/actions you are performing, and what is the exact error message you are receiving?

For some reason, now its working. I was trying to burn an .iso image and it just didn't want to do it, but when I read your reply I decided to replicate the error so I would know exactly what it said, and now its working. Weird. Thanks anyways. :)
