Question Btv 2115 Video Capture

I recently acquired an old P200 that was sold as a Gateway Destination 2000. It's got a capture card built into the video card, with a BtV2115 chip on the board. I'd never heard of the BtV 2115 chip before (bttv 848/878 are what I've worked with in the past) and have been unable to find anything about this online. While googling for it, I found a post from 1998 by Mike Frisch asking basically the same question and offering to develop a driver for this card, but his e-mail address is no longer valid so there's no way for me to check to see if he got anywhere. I also found the PCI ID description in the index on sourceforge, but that was of no help either. The only drivers I've managed to find are for windoze - windoze 95b was the original OS on this machine.

I tried the standard bttv driver 0.9.15 and it does not recognize this card. I was wondering if anybody can tell me if this board is supported by linux and what driver I should use for it. I'd really like to transplant the innards of this machine (to turn it into something usable as a DVR - a P200 isn't all that usable for this application), but don't want to spend the time and money that'll be needed to do so if I can't get the card to work.
