I purchased a Leadtek WinFast Tv2000 XP RM after verifing that it is compatible with SuSE 10.0 Linux. I installed the card and ran yast2, which auto detected the card. I also install kernel default nongpl, lirc for remote control and updated both kernels to 2.6.13-15. The instalation ran ok except the irc didn't install and said "unused" in the details dialog box. After the instalation I ran XawTV and kdetv and all I get is static. I trying to connect to dishnet sat TV. I've tried s-video and coax with no difference. I configured the card: NTSC us-cable.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Thanks for the help!
I've got similar problem. I have PixelView Play TV pro (bt 878 too)
and tried to install it on Aurox 11.0. Without success.
All I get is blue screen in xawtv.
I have tuner number set to 37 and I don't like it.
But I have it in modprobe.conf so if I want changes to take effect
I have to restart computer. How to change tuner number from
command line?.
I installed the card in a Win xp machine and it worked good (except the remote control which didn't work then either). I called Leadtek and they won't tell me who the manufacture of the tuner is e.g.:Phillips, Alps, LG, whatever. Only that it's NTSC.
Does someone have this card configured and know which tuner is correct? After I installed it in the win xp machine and selected antenna and broadcast it worked with DishTv (coax).
