bridged ethernet+suse?

hey, i have a quick question that hopefully someone can help me with: my girlfriend has a laptop running XP and Mandrake10. I only have 1 ethernet port in my room that is used for my computer. I have an onboard NIC and a PCI one. I use the PCI one. My friend told me that its possible to use my onboard NIC to connect her computer to mine so she can gat online through my computer. I dont know how to do that, and neither does my friend.
I am runing SuSE 9, kernel 2.4.21-199-athlon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Bridge Utils , thats what I use with 2.6.5 kernel but it should work with 2.4.x kernels too:

Kernel 2.4: bridging
If you use either a kernel 2.4.21 or later kernel, you should be fine. The latest development takes place on 2.6. There are no functional changes between 2.4 and 2.6 but lots of bug fixes for boundary cases such as changing status of active interfaces on an SMP system.
The usage is very intuitive (HowTo )
