Hi I want to be able to have the option of booting up Fedora or Windows. Each operation system has its on drive.

Fedora is in the master drive.
Window is in the slave drive.

Here is a print out of my boot manager , can you tell me what i did wrong.

If i choose dos i get a black screen with the words error 53 Error while parsing number

I believe Windows needs to be on the first bootable partition or drive. Another one of the 'niceities' of Windows. I'm not 100% sure about this but I've always put Windows on the first drive or partition and had no troubles.

Ok, I changed the jumper on my drives. Now the fedora is a slave, and the windows is a master. however i no longer get a boot manager. Who do I fix that and would cable select work as well.

The boot manager must be on the mbr (master boot record) of your master hd. Your old one is now the slave probably /dev/hdb.
If you use grub you need to do something like this:-
grub-install /dev/hda
If you use lilo you will need to run that in a similar way.
On my setup mainly redhat 9 man grub-install gives instructions also
man lilo if you need it
