Board bring up activities and test peripherals from U-boot.
Hi..To Everybody ,
i have just started my journey in Embedded linux, currently working on Cirrus Logic board(EP9315) and i have the data sheet and schematics of the board,so now i would like to test all the peripherals (like.. uart,Ethernet), just basic test
like writing some data to that particular register and signals are happening on that bus,so here my focus is to ask where to start this from software side...i was told to test from u-boot before linux up but i don't know where in u-boot i start testing...
kindly, Please let me know as soon as possible for this solution and if anybody provided extra information (regarding u-boot and board bringing up activities) i would be pleased with ur knowledge.
Thanks and Regards
Bhaskar

I suggest that you create a new thread in Linux - Embedded for your embed problem. Please provide detail information: Hardware Specs, Gnu/Linux and any other related details for your problem.
FYI: I suggest that you look at 'How to Ask Questions the Smart Way' so in the future your queries provide information that will aid us in diagnosis of the problem or query.
Please do not resurrect old threads without contributing to the thread. Older threads may not get a response from participant members who are only interim.
If you have any questions then feel free to contact me or other forum moderators.
HTH!
