bluetooth problem on asus x83vb

Hello, I have a problem with bluetooth. I am running Debian 5.0 (lenny) stable on a ASUS x83vb. I cannot get bluetooth to work. This laptop only has a Hot button to turn bluetooth on which is for windows and does not work (as fasr as i can tell) in linux.

dmesg | grep Blue shows:

[ 27.739577] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.11
[ 27.739610] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 27.739610] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 27.854962] Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.9
[ 27.854962] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 27.935406] Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
[ 27.935406] Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
[ 27.935406] Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.8

This seems to show that the bluetooth device is being recognized.

lspci shows:

It seems that the bluetooth device is not turned on from what I can tell.

Also, hcitool dev shows nothing at all.

How can I get bluetooth working?
