Bluetooth pairing
Hi.
I'm having a problem with my Fedora 8 and bluetooth. Using the gnome bluetooth applet, I can see the bluetooth devices, but when I try to pair the device, it gives a error message informing that's impossible to make the OBEX connection! I have all blueZ and OBEX installed and I can send files from the computer to my bluetooth devices, but the problem is in the pairing as without it I can't use wammu or jpilot with bluetooth. How can I make Linux pairing with my bluetooth devices? Miguel |
Hi.
I've been trying to solve my bluetooth pairing problem and I've found something that I don't understand now. In one page, I've seen that when issuing the command "/etc/init.d/bluetooth status" it says that the daemons "hcid" and "sdpd" are running, but in my case, I only have daemon "hcid" running and I've searched and I can't find any "sdpd" daemon to execute on my Fedora 8. Where can I found this "sdpd" daemon? Miguel |
