How do I have Xorg recognize a freshly connected bluetooth mouse after X is already running. It is in my ServerLayout section, but sometimes is not connected at boot.
If you're using a recent enough version of xorg it's simply a matter of making sure that dbus is running. Which version of xorg-server are you running?

The way I am connecting my mouse is through a modified bluez-simple-agent that calls hidd --connect $MOUSE when the mouse requests to connect.
Edit: I commented out all InputDevice sections, hotplugging works now. But now, to enable the horizontal scrolling and define how many buttons the mouse has, how Do i do that? I assume I need to write an fdi for my mice, which are an Apple USB MightyMouse/Apple Bluetooth Mighty Mouse.
