Maybe this is a silly question but if you have a blank drive fresh out of the anti-static bag do you still just boot from CD-Rom or do I need to format this drive in some manner?
The only times I have Linux I was using Windows formatted drives. Once on a piece of crap machine that didn't like Linux at all (I got it for free and sold it for $250 so who cares what it thought of Linux
) and the other machine ran way to slow for my tastes since I was already putting up with the fact that I didn't know crap about the OS.
I will be attempting a multiple boot system between Icepack, Peanut, Vector and QNX as soon as I get a working motherboard for all my parts.
