Exclamation Blank frambuffer - Too much memory

Hi mates, I have an old Compaq Presario 2292. I've recently added some additional memory to it going from 64MB to 256MB (maximum supported). Since then, I can't boot in framebuffer mode no matter what distro I use. It's always the same thing: a blank screen. The only way to boot in framebuffer mode is by removing one memory module from bank 1. I've tried both swapping to each other and combing among themselves with its original 64MB module. The PC new memory is a couple of new 128MB KVR100X64C2 Kingston modules. They work great because they have passed several memory diagnostic tools successfully and in graphical mode (not framebuffer) they fantastic.

I've got these messages from the kernel at booting time:
Code:
#$dmesg | grep vesa
vesafb: cannot reserve video memory at 0x8000000
vesafb: abort, cannot ioremap video memory 0x400000 @ 0x8000000
vesafb: probe of vesafb.0 failed with error -5
I've tried passing the following parameters to the kernel to try fixing this:

vga=nopentium
vga=791
vga=791 video=vesafb:ywrap,vram:16 1024x768@85
vga=791 video=vesafb:ywrap,vram:16 800x600@60
vga=0700 (works but that's text mode)

No one helped much. Thus, I hope you have any other clever idea to fix this.

I look forward to hearing from you guys!

Any help will be welcomed. Thanks.

PS: Full dmesg trace is next
