bios error 'timer not connected to IO APIC

Distro Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex
All the hardware (including wireless) seems to work but when booting up, I get this annoying error. Should I be concerned? Is my motherboard gonna fry?

It will be an error, if it's marked FATAL.

But I'd guess it's just a text informing
about apic. Important probably for a
laptop, to be ignored for a work station.

Well, this is a laptop, a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7428.
The darn thing runs just fine (especially with Linux hehe) I just don't want to hurt it by continuing to run it with the error. Thanks for the reassurance.
