Best Value Linux Scanner

hi all,

the mrs wants a color scanner - and i want it compatible with linux. i don't mind multi-function, but it has to be supported by linux in some reasonable fashion.

what do you suggest? i'm looking for decent quality and value pricing.

I have no issues with the Canon Lide 20 .... it scans! Works out of the box.

Incidentally, I have a Canon Lide 60 aswell that works with Debian Testing --- no configuration needed.

Have a look here at the supported devices and then match them to those available at your local supplier.
