Exclamation Best soundcard for linux!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need 110% compatible with Linux,"7.1" soundcard. What can you advise?

Anyways, sound support is the Linux kernel's job itself. - Most soundcards are supported, so pick one first, then check if it's compatible.

BTW, if you're not exactly doing audio recording and editing, almost any (cheap) sound card should suffice IMHO.

I'm pretty sure he means 7.1 surround soundcard that is compatible with Linux, not Linux 7.1.
