The best one is tvtime but it uses either Video 4 Linux version 1 or Video 4 Linux version 2. If the kernel supports the chip, which it does, the card should work in all programs.

Thank you Electro,
It seems that it doesn't work for me, i don't know if it i have the bad settings.
but i'v read in tvtime Supported cards page, that it supports cards based on the Philips SAA7134 chip. I think I have a newer version of the driver. Is that a problem ?
xawtv is a good tv viewing app to start with. It is quite basic and comes from the same place as the drivers themselves, so is probably the most likely to work out of the box.
The saa7135 is part of the saa713x chip models. The saa7134 module should work with the card that has saa7135. To get saa713x based video capture cards working you need at least kernel version 2.6.10. I suggest kenel version 2.6.11 or latest stable version, because earliar 2.6.x kernel versions has tight permissions on CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives that makes it impossible to write a disc as a normal user. For saa713x chips, you have to specify the card and tuner number to be able to use it.
xawtv is not a good TV application for saa713x chips because it does not always work they way it is suppose to. xawtv was written for BT878 chips. I get better results with tvtime.
