belkin wlan problem

i have a problem with my new belking f5d6020 wlan pcmcia card.

firstly i installed the pcmcia-cs package
"Radio network interface support is enabled"

after this i installed the atmel wlan drivers
CONFIG_PCMCIA_y
CONFIG_PCMCIA_502AD=y
KERNEL_SRC = /lib/modules/2.4.25/build/ (softlink)
PCMCIA_SRC /usr/src/blfs-packages/pcmcia-cs-3.2.7

cardmgr detects the card without an error
cat /proc/net/wireless also returnes no error

iwconfig returnes:
aml0: no wireless extensions.

lvnet shows the following error message:
"ATMEL - Card not found, Please insert your Card!"

i have already added my mac adress to wireless.opts

grep "CONFIG_NET_RADIO" /usr/src/linux-2.4.25/.config
CONFIG_NET_RADIO=y

i heared that wlan card's can't get their ip via dhcp?!? is this right?
