Belkin 54g USB Antenna and Cricket A600 broadband modem issues

As you can see im new here and im probably posting in wrong section but here goes. I recently purchased a Cricket a600 Broadband modem and service and im having issues getting the OS to recognize it. In windows its easy but with Back Track 4 it isnt. Also it doesnt recognize anything i plug into the usb ports so im guessing not plug and play compatablie. Also is there any way to switch from windows to Linux whithout rebooting?

Thanks in advance for all your help
