Beeps from Lan Card

Hi,
I am using Mandriva Free 2007 on a Toshiba Satellite M70 Laptop. I have an irritating problem with my built in lan card (Intel Pro 2200 BG). It seems to be emitting constant beeps rapidly. Is there some way of disabling these beeps. They do get really irritating at times, although the volume is very low. It still is irritating. IS this some configuration issue or is a hardware problem??

Certainly you mean the computer's internal speaker is beeping, how can a WiFi card beep with no speaker on it?

ouch... stupid post.... ignore it.. and yes, it is the internal speaker that is beeping and not the lan card.....
