I have followed a lot of tutorials, I have become successful for the most part, however I am having one problem and I am hoping someone here can help me resolve that.
I have gotten the wireless light to come on, and I have gotten wlan0 to recognize my network.
If I go to (My router link) It will display my router's settings page and I can alter anything in there through the wireless network.
My notebook is connecting to the network, and to the router, but it won't allow me to go to web pages, can someone help me with this?
My knowledge on Linux is very new, I am however a Windows guru. In other words I know a lot about computers under a Windows environment but I am still learning Linux.
FIXED: I fixed the issue, it wasn't a problem with linux, it was user error. I forgot to change the ESSID, once I did that and issued the dhcpcd wlan0 command, I was online and it is working great =D
