Bad Raid1 Reconstruction

Hi,

We have a situation where a power failure seems to have caused the system to reconstruct a raid1 drive from old data. The data on at least one file system is dated May 2006 or earlier. It is not just a date issue either. We checked that. This bad file system has all the active data (of course). Is there any way to find the current data? If we find it, is there any way to recover it?

This is a system we adopted so we don't know a lot about it. We have a fair amount of linux experience, and a fair amount of non-linux hardware raid experience, but have never worked with raid on linux. Any help you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
lyndakg
