B75 chipset and USB

Are there known USB issues with B75 chipset or Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H motherboard?

My problem started with printer issues, but it seems that the problem is more related to USB:

Quite unlikely that it's due to the USB module/chipset/motherboard.

Stick in a USBkey and write & read to it => if after 30 minutes it's still working fine then your problem is related to the printer driver/module.

Cheers

Well, webcam works fine, and a couple of hours ago I flashed a new bios version from
an USB stick.
Does that count?

Anyway, I put the USB memory stick in, and see if it works in the morning.

Also, USB memory stick still works fine.

I guess for 30 min continuous read & write I need to get a
new USB memory stick.

Could you then please set this thread as "solved", as nothing seems to be wrong with your USB bus?
We can continue focusing on the printer in your other thread.

Then where could the problem be?
Incompatibility between USB HW and driver?
And especially, how to find out?

Any idea about if USB driver puts some relevant info somewhere in /proc?

Funny: tried printing with Lubuntu 14.04 Live CD and it worked.
And after that printing with Mint 17 Live CD worked too.

What the ...
