Thumbs down Awful sound quality with integrated sound on VIA KM266


Hi everyone,
My problem is the following:
I'm running ASPLinux 11 on VIA KM266 mainbord. Sound card was utodetected and installed but the sound is awfuly clicky and noisy. I tried to change the sound system (ALSA, OSS) but the result is the same.
Please help,

Via have linux sound drivers on their webside that might work.

Usually KM266 is combined with the vt8233c southbridge, but you have to look in the manual or look at the chip on the motherboard to be sure
