Smile Avermedia 777 + Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Hello to averybody,

I had some problems with avermedia 777 TV Tuner and ubuntu 12.04 LTS i solved it. For that reason i give you my solution:

1. Support for the hardware

Create the file saa7134.conf in this route /etc/modprobe.d/ (sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134.conf)

###############
options saa7134 card=85 alsa=1 tuner=62
install saa7134 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install saa7134; /sbin/modprobe saa7134-dvb ; /sbin/modprobe tuner ; /sbin/modprobe tda9887
###############

2. Install the package "i2c-tools_3.0.3-5build1_i386.deb":

http://www.google.es/url?sa=t&rct=j&...16636494,d.bGQ

3. Finally, compile v4l from the page:

https://www.google.es/url?sa=t&rct=j...16636494,d.bGQ

4. Restart your computer.

5. Install Kaffeine at last.

Put in console "sudo apt-get install kaffeine -y"

Enjoy it your tv card.

Regards.

Jesús RT.
