autoMounting problems i get a "stale lock file"

after I messed up my automounting I mounted using comandline, now this appears

Code:
alek@DeathStar:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/ALEX mount: mount point /media/ALEX does not exist alek@DeathStar:~$ sudo mkdir /media/ALEX alek@DeathStar:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/ALEX Cannot create link /etc/mtab~ Perhaps there is a stale lock file? alek@DeathStar:~$ sudo umount /media/ALEX/ Cannot create link /etc/mtab~ Perhaps there is a stale lock file?
