auto detect USB device at boot
Hello all, last week I tried to get a touchscreen to work, try what I may I couldn't get the X axis to reverse, however by a fluke I found It runs off my Xorg mouse set up. So reverse mouse axis and it works!
Great, but my next major problem is for it to start it has to be un plugged and re plugged? At first I thought it was usbtouchscreen, but insmod shows it's already running, can anyone offer any advice so it's detected from boot?
I'm using Xorg, debian etch and the touchscreen is 3m/microtouch. I have pmount etc installed. But would like to "hotplug" from boot rather than plug in after xorg has started.
PS try as I might the mutouch microtouch drivers will not work for this screen on any system.
Thanks in advance
