If you can be a bit more specific about your problem
I'll do my best to help you, how are you trying to install the drivers??

hi amp2000
thanks for your answer
i am trying to install the drivers (aureal vortex) on my mdk
when i installed it on redhat 7.1 i just change the path to the sources ,it was a directory i think /usr/include/linux/
now i want to know where is the path for mandrake to edit the makefile and install the drivers.
i am again not so helpful but i am completely newbie.if u dont understand what is the problem i will tell to a friend to post this problem.
another problem is on the dual boot
on my a drive i have mdk 8.1 install.on my c drive i installed redhat 7.2 without bootloader.then i add an entry on lilo.conf for redhat
when i boot from redhat ,lot of services don't load,it switching to all levels until it finds a good one but i get an error that its respawining too fast.what is it?
please help a newbie

Have you even installed the drivers yet ?
Im not sure what format teh drivers are in but I dont think it's
as easy as downloading the driver's & pointing a program to it.
Can you tell me what format the drivers are in ie tar, rpm, tar.gz
& I will tell you how to install the drivers, or try;)

no idea about your second problem though, try this http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...wning+too+fast
