Hello all LQ! New to the forum, not new to Linux. Though I have a new issue I am Unfamiliar with. I have a Dell Vostro 1000, well two. These are x64, one works fine, has Linux and I use it. Recently I repaired it's twin, but I am having issues setting up Linux on it.
At boot, there is a constant interruption that says "atkbd unknown key pressed translated set 2 0x8b an isa0060/serio0 use set keycodes e00b make it known"
I found this link, pointing to the issue as a bug. ->>

It claims to be a mouse issue? The thing is the only mouse hooked up now is the integrated touch pad. Not only that I have it's twin here, and it works just fine.
Or a multimedia keyboard issue? I am stumped over the issue where another computer the same has never shown such an issue.
I am curious to the fixes to this. Help is much appreciated! : )
Edit: I am using Debian based systems...
I also wanted to add, I purchased a new keyboard maybe a week ago for this running machine, I put it into the problem machine to see if it were a keyboard issue, though it did the same thing.
I also reset the bios due to other adjustments thinking maybe it would help though it did not either....
