I just installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux V4 64-bit version so I'm a noob. I've got all my other drivers working except for my video card. I have an ATI X700 Pro video card.
I downloaded the ATI Driver Installer 29.4MB. It is a .run file. I opened the terminal and went to the folder that the file is located in. I installed it with sh /. It installed successfully (automatic).
It said that it installed successfully. So I go to applications > ATI Control and get the following error message:
File GL Control
Driver does not provide the FireGL X11 extensions! Panel components will operate only partially.
It than opens up the ATI Control Panel but does not display any options.
Any suggestions
