ATI Radeon 9800 All in Wonder

I know there are many threads on this issue.

I Installed the rpm package and then compiled the fglrx kernel module + installed it.

When direct rendering is off as a result of no agpgart module loaded but just fglrx module loaded

Tv out works

When direct rendering is enabled when agpgart is loaded, tv out stops working.

Is this a problem with the dri project? I tried a LOT of things over the course of 2 days.

This includes "use kernel's agpgart module" in the fglrxconfig utility.

*sigh*, I hope someone can help me with this.

I believe this is a limitation of ATI's driver.

It can only do either 2d or 3d accel at a time, and TV out only works when used in 2d accel mode.

Sorry
