ATI radeon 320m

Hello ,
I am a linux newbie. I have presarion 2100, AMD2400+, ATI RADEON IGP 320m graphic card. I was able to install Redhat 9 and configured the Xwindows using VESA drivers. Redhat didn't recongised the 320m so had to use VESA. Are there new driver for ATI available for 320m. Does somebody have any information about how to use the new drivers if they are available.

Any help links.

Thanks

I've got a Presario 2100 too. I have searched a lot, but there is no way: ATI mobility Radeon (IGP 320M) is not supported by xfree 4.2 or 4.3. You can set your video card as a VESA or a radeon without hardware acceleration. There are non-free projects (other than xfree) that support that card but you have to pay for them. So we should wait some time. :(

Hello ,
Red hat does not support ATI 320m at this moment. I tried mandrake 9.1 it supports ATI 320m. maybe you want to try that distro,

thanks

I found THIS page here:

http://consultmatt.co.uk/nx9005/radeon-igp/index.php

I have the same laptop (presario 2110) and I REALLY want 3D acceleration this card.

I have Fedora Core 2 installed and I'm downloading the XFree86-4.3.99 RPMS with the patch (link on the page above). However the RPMS are for RedHat 9...so I don't know how well they'll work...does anyone know?
